Ghostly Kisses - The City Holds My Heart Babe What do you want to know? We’ve already been over this A million times Wait Though I told you I would be There when you needed me Can’t pretend to be Someone else For you And I know, I know, I know, I know There is something missing Something that was there before And I know, I know, I know, I know I’ll still love you Even worlds apart The city holds my heart Within walls of glass and steel Can’t you see I just can’t go? These walls are all I know The city holds my heart Like a shell I cannot feel surrounds I want you to go I’m scared to tell you so Babe, what do you want from me? We’ve already tried everything Hold me Don’t ask me why I still can't leave This is where I feel at home This is where my heart always belonged And I know, I know, I know, I know I’ll still love you Always in my dreams The city holds my heart Within walls of glass and steel Can’t you see I just can’t go? These walls are all I know The city holds my heart Like a shell I cannot feel surrounds I want you to go I’m scared to tell you so Even if you go You remain a whisper in my dreams

Touch 03:24
Ghostly Kisses – Touch Every day, I keep thinking About you and I How good we are together When we’re alone together Can you tell why Can you tell me why you keep your distance like this? I wanna feel your touch I wanna feel you I wanna feel your touch I wanna feel you Will you ever? Will you ever let me in? You read me well Better than I read myself I like you best When there is no one else, only on our own Can you tell why Can you tell me why you keep me in the dark like this? I wanna feel your touch I wanna feel you I wanna feel your touch I wanna feel you Will you ever? Will you ever let me in?

Spellbound 03:38
Ghostly Kisses – Spellbound When you move Under the moon I can feel you Slipping through to tantalize When you sing Your words soft and sincere Oh I want you More than I ever desired There are things I don’t understand Deep within my well Then I wish to unveil myself When I dance under your midnight prayer I dance around, around, around, in circles And I dance around, around, around, in circles In a dream Calm, surreal I can taste you Feel completely hypnotized When you speak The words I long to hear Oh I want you More than I ever desired There are things I don’t understand Deep within my well Then I wish to unveil myself When I dance under your midnight prayer I dance around, around, around, in circles And I dance around, around, around, in circles

Héloïse 03:53
Ghostly Kisses – Héloïse Once I was the one to realize Once I was the one to hold the sadness in your eyes But I was not the one able to read into your mind Without my mother’s voice in a world of pantomime But still, Time stood still For blood reasons I still believe in us In some way I want to For blood reasons I’ll always have second thoughts In some way I have to Héloïse, what has become of us? Héloïse, what has become of us? I was not the one to understand I was not the one who took the devil by the hand Why was I the one who had to make the sacrifice? Why was I the one who saw the truth that you deny? For blood reasons I still believe in us In some way I want to For blood reasons I’ll always have second thoughts In some way I have to Héloïse, what has become of us? Héloïse, what has become of us?

Zombie 03:22
Zombie Another head hangs lowly Child is slowly taken And the violence, caused such silence Who are we mistaken? But you see, it's not me It's not my family In your head, in your head, they are fighting With their tanks, and their bombs And their bombs, and their guns In your head, in your head they are crying In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie What's in your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie Another mother's breaking Heart is taking over When the violence causes silence We must be mistaken It's the same old theme Since nineteen-sixteen In your head, in your head, they're still fighting With their tanks, and their bombs And their bombs, and their guns In your head, in your head, they are dying In your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie What's in your head, in your head Zombie, zombie, zombie

about

Ghostly Kisses Québec

Ghostly Kisses is the dreamy pop music of singer songwriter Margaux Sauvé.

The name ‘Ghostly Kisses’ was inspired from reading William Faulkner’s poem
‘Une ballade des dames perdues’ and seemed like the perfect reflection of her ethereal voice.
